A question for the group here: What innovations/evolutions are most necessary to advance or improve the card collecting hobby?
It feels like the hobby has remained largely unchanged for decades, with only the occasional evolution like the rise in prominence of relics, autographs, and chrome. But are further advancements necessary at this point? Whether it's changes to cards themselves and technology they incorporate (are we reaching a point where cards can incorporate video playback?), how they're bought and sold, etc. I'm curious what other collectors feel is needed in order to help the hobby thrive and be relevant for future generations.
