Back in 1997 Fleer flew a select few dealers to a Golf Course in Itaska, Illinois. We had a great breakfast and I got to know James Worthy the man, not just the player. I played Golf with NBA Legend Nate “Tiny” Archibald. It was his first time playing golf. There were tons of current and legends in all sports. Roy Firestone delivered jokes and impersonations and Bill Walton provided more entertainment in his talk. I will try and locate my plaque with all of the signatures.

Fleer gave each of us a nice hand written letter and a special Cal Ripken, Jr card with ground from Camden Yard on the night of his historic night of passing Lou Gehrig.
