With the NHL playoffs starting and the puck dropping tomorrow for Colorado, I thought I'd share my top four Avalanche players of all-time. At this point I'd say that Nathan MacKinnon is 4a and Cale Makar is 4b, so let's just call it "creative math"... ;-)

The Nordiques moved to Denver around the same time I did and I was fortunate enough to be able to not just go to a bunch of regular season games, but playoff rounds, multiple Stanley Cup finals, and the All-Star game in 2001. Being able to watch Sakic, Roy and Forsberg during my years living there was an absolute treat.
