For my 100 streak badge, what's better than my all-time favorite set? I started in the hobby buying packs of 1975 Topps, both the regular size and the mini size. Today both sets -- 50 years old this year -- are complete ('75 in 2004 and '75 mini in 2014)

This is two of those wall hangings, one atop the other, which show off the 1975 Topps cards I pulled from packs that year -- my first year buying cards -- in their original condition! I have another one on another wall. (Sorry about the glare).

Hal McRae's card is one of the cards I remember pulling from the first packs I ever bought way back in 1975. Today he is 80! (*mind blown*)

Here’s a random post. I’ve had this card for as long as I can remember. I don’t know why but it’s been one of my favorites for that long as well. Randy was a great Padre pitcher but that wasn’t why it was my favorite. If I had to give an honest answer now I’d say it’s his socks. They go with the color of the card really well and the Padres uniforms back then were fire. I wish teams would lay off the black and go with the colors from the 70’s & 80’s. There were some awesome uniforms back then
