On August 24, 2007, San Diego Padres starter, Greg Maddux, won his 10th game of the season making him the first player in history to win 10 games in 20 consecutive seasons. During the streak, which started in 1988 as a member of the Cubs, Maddux won as many as 20 games (1992) but no less than 13 (2005) and pitched at least 194 innings per season. He also made 9 All-Star teams and won 4 CY Young awards during the streak.
