The whole reason I got into collecting cards was because of my abuela. She collected Indians, Reds and tigers cards growing up. Specifically all Indians and quite literally any team Ken Griffey Jr. played on.
After picking the hobby up I guess “more actively” I bought cards and started selling with my mom during her journey with ALS.
It’s sad these days without her, but collecting players and cards especially the teams we watched together (lions! Waddup doe) makes me feel like she’s with me every step of the way.
