In 2017, the MoMA Design Store launched a collection of KAWS BFF figures, which were highly sought after by collectors.  I was lucky enough to have a coworker who purchased a few and sold me one at his cost. Who do you think informs KAWS’s creatives more: Simpson, Mickey Mouse, someone or something else?

Another note: KAWS's X-ed out eyes and hands represent the virtual deaths of characters who are humanlike, but nonliving to begin with.
