I know it’s from the junk era! But, it was a time when Upper Deck changed the game by having better resolution on the printing which resulted in more clearer pictures. The back of the cards were also in color too! Often times, they chose very dynamic shots like this one of Bo! I have Bo’s Topps Future Star rookie card too! But it really lacked any visual movement and dynamics like this card did. The photographer caught him in mid-motion and not the standard pose which can often be very flat and visually uninspiring compared to this card.
As a working creative professional artist, I might see things differently and do understand the emotional anchors that we all have to certain cards even though it might lack great composition or the printing isn’t the best.
