How does one arrive at a price for something like a Stroud/Wemby 1/1 auto? $149K on eBay now. Wouldn’t the better strategy be to put it up for auction with a reserve? What’s the right strategy, and how do you even begin to price a card that really has no comps?

This substitute teacher probably 4-5x their teaching pay with this monster hit. I'm glad this card was pulled by someone that probably needed it 👏 I wonder how much this card would go for? It's pretty unique, 2x non-baseball superstar athletes auto on a baseball card 🤔

Ok, hear me out: I know there’s a lot of speculation that goes into this weird hot take, but if you just went rookie/prospect hunting this year across all the major sports:

* Wemby (NBA)
* Elly de la Cruz RC and Paul Skenes 1st Bowman’s (MLB)
* CJ Stroud (NFL)
* Connor Bedard (NHL)
* Caitlin Clark (1st Bowman and WNBA rookie card)
* And not to mention the Bron/Bronny auto chase, Charlie Woods (golf) had his first card…
Has there been a year that has been this prolific across all major sports? Again, this takes into account that all of these players will ultimately live up to their hype - but also doesn’t factor in those who will emerge “out of nowhere” (is there a hidden Brady in the mix??)

Shaping up to a big release! A bit disappointed with the sticker autos though.

I thought it was interesting that Stroud is second behind only Shohei Ohtani as far as athlete's cards getting graded by PSA in the month of March. I also thought it was interesting that there aren't any basketball players on here that weren't drafted after 2003. But you have three baseball players and three football players whose rookie cards came out in the past three years.

And I just pulled my first Prizm Stroud (Fireworks insert), so I'm happy about that.
