While I didn't collect G.I.Joe toys growing up, I absolutely loved the cartoon. Over the years I've added some unopened packs/boxes to my PC. The 1986 Milton Bradley are one of my favorite looks for non-sport character cards. I had a custom Tusken Raider card made with the same look! Yo, Joe!
Artist Spotlight, A piece from @gumtradingcards A mashup of classic 80s GI Joe toys with the GOAT was a fun concept. Knowing is half the battle…GI Jordan! This was a great way to support other card artists and add this unique piece to the PC! If you have not had a chance, be sure to check out Gum Trading Cards!
I haven't looked too deeply into the GI Joe market but it seems to be exploding as of late. I had TONS of GI Joes as a kid, but none stayed in the packaging long enough to even make it home from the toy store. Some of the prices these toys are starting to realize has been eye-opening.
