@Hoozhier Jack Dillon, known as the "Hoosier Bearcat," was a fierce and compact fighter who became the World Light Heavyweight Champion from 1914 to 1916. Despite standing only about 5′7½″, he earned the nickname "Jack the Giant Killer" for his success against larger opponents, including heavyweights. Dillon won the title by defeating Battling Levinsky and defended it multiple times before eventually losing it back to Levinsky. Over a career that spanned more than 250 fights, Dillon notched around 191 wins, including 65 knockouts. His aggressive style, toughness, and achievements in multiple weight classes earned him a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
