As some of you might’ve seen earlier this week, I won the Mantel seven-day streak giveaway for having posted/commented for seven straight days. My prize was a 2024 Donruss football bundle box, which arrived today with a thoughtful note from the company.

I requested for @EPonMantel, aka “The Grim Ripper™”, to play no part in the shipping and handling process to avoid throwing the lion stench on my luck (special thanks to @hypemon on the assist). As I predicted, big hit mojo! I pulled a Jayden Daniels jersey swatch rookie, a Dick Butkus oversize Downtown, inserts of Mahomes and Allen, and a bunch of solid rookies.

Jayden Daniels becomes the second rookie QB to throw a 50+ yard game winning touchdown pass with time expired. As Commanders fan I love it, but is it too early to display memorabilia from this play in the Hall of Fame in Canton?

A Panini Origins 1/1 Jayden Daniels card just sold on eBay for a cool $12,322. If you’ve been tuned into the NFL at all, you know why. Daniels has been electric, driving the Commanders to a 7-2 record. He’s not only the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year, but there’s also MVP chatter starting to build.

Through 9 games, he’s thrown a 71% completion rate, 1,945 passing yards, 9 TDs, and added 459 rushing yards with 4 more TDs on the ground. The guy’s got all the stats and the swagger to back up the hype.

For a rookie QB playing at this level, $12K almost feels like a steal. So, what’s the ceiling for Daniels in the card market?

Jayden Daniels continues his hot rookie campaign beating the Giants yesterday 27-22. I really hope Jayden can continue playing at this high level as season continues. I've been seeing a lot of talk about the oversized downtown cards and so I had to pick one up on eBay. I hope Jayden Daniels does an autograph signing after the season so that I can try to get this card signed.
