Vintage hand made model that I believe was an entry in the Fisher Body Craftsman Guild

The Fisher Body Craftsman’s Guild was a national model-building competition run by General Motors from 1930 to 1968. Originally focused on replicas of the Fisher coach, it later encouraged teens to design futuristic model cars. Winners earned college scholarships and a trip to Detroit for the national finals. The competition emphasized craftsmanship, creativity, and design, serving as a talent pipeline for GM—many participants went on to become automotive designers. At its peak, it awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships and shaped future careers in engineering and design before ending due to rising costs and declining interest.
