Vintage Pete Rose cards are still cool. I miss the days when we used to have player-managers. Like Rose or when Bill Russell was a player-manager! Don’t see those…really ever anymore!

Cincinnati is third year spark plug joint Jake Daubert (1922) as the teams only players with at least 200 hits, 100 runs, 10 homers, 10 triples and 10 doubles in a season. And he won up his predecessor by repeating the feet in 1969.
