Today’s pickups at the East Coast National at the Westchester County Center. Happy to have made some nice Brady and Clark pickups in particular.
The 1982 Wrestling All-Stars cards provided me a valuable lesson. Combing through a 5-row, I found these two pristine-looking cards and did a quick comp, not realizing they were reprints (eBay raw on the Flair was a $9.99 recent sale). Obviously, it was too good to be true, as when I checked more in depth, aside from the condition, there were telltale signs that these were not originals. They weren’t wildly expensive and are still iconic so will go into my PC, but it should serve as a reminder to make sure you do your homework in the moment. All-in-all it was a solid experience.
