The 2025 MLB Regular Season was such a fun season with historic performances, compelling storylines, and unforgettable moments. And as we wait on the eve of the postseason, the biggest question that remains: who should win the AL MVP? Even as a Phillies fan, I believe that Ohtani will and should win the NL MVP, but the AL discussion much more debatable. Cal Raleigh had a remarkable season, and one of the best in Mariners team history- Raleigh alone is an anomaly: a switch hitting catcher with power. Unheard of. He set the record this season for most HR by a switch hitter, as well as most HR by a catcher. He led a Seattle team to win the AL West for the first time in the past 24 seasons. And while his 2025 season is one for the record books and its ending remains unwritten, I believe Judge SHOULD win the AL MVP for the third time in the past four seasons. Although he finished with 7 fewer HR, his average, OBP, OPS and WAR are far superior. Cal Raleigh had a historic season and I would not be shocked if he wins. But, Aaron Judge dominates the game, even when not hitting HR. Who do you think should win the AL MVP?!?
