Fellow collectors/fans of the hobby: thoughts on this set? I think it’s a pretty cool collaboration; at first I was indifferent, but the set kind of grew on me. Each set includes the 25-card base set, plus a numbered parallel- I got the green foil (#/99) Clayton Kershaw. The 25 card set features 12 Cubs and 12 Dodgers (Ohtani received two cards in the set, rightfully so). I’m going to send the two Ohtani cards, the numbered Kershaw, Yamamoto and PCA card in to PSA to be graded. If I had to change anything about the set: I would have removed a few players, maybe two from each team, making it a 21-card set. But the 25-card set was obviously intentional (since it’s commemorating the 2025 Tokyo Series lol). Overall I think it’s a pretty cool addition to any collection!

2011 Bowman Chrome 1st refractor auto Javy Baez rookie. I got this card many moons ago and to me he is and always will be one of the greats. He might have always had a consistent contact issue but he has always been exciting and fun to watch. Especially in his early Cubs days.

This card I got a few years ago and it’s staying in my collection forever. I’ve always been a fan and when he joined the cubs he became one of my favorite pitchers. Even though he was terrible at throwing to first he was really good at throwing the ball home.
