From rock bottom to recovery. From nearly losing everything to finding purpose in helping others.

I'm incredibly grateful to have joined Craig Carton on his show, Hello, My Name Is Craig on WFAN, which aired on the radio yesterday morning, to share my personal story of gambling addiction, compulsive collecting, and recovery.

We had an honest and deeply personal conversation about the darkest moments of my addiction, the impact it had on my family and relationships, and the journey that ultimately led me to create Collectors MD.

We also explored the complicated intersection of gambling and collecting, how behaviors that begin as hobbies can sometimes become harmful, and why education, awareness, harm reduction, and support are so important.

A few years ago, I never could have imagined sharing my story so openly, let alone on the radio. Today, I recognize that doing so might help someone else recognize what they're going through or find the courage to ask for help.

Recovery has given me a second chance, and I'm committed to using it to help others.
