The Guardian Slab is intended for vendors and collectors who want an added layer of protection against grab-and-go theft at card shows or in retail settings. The slab incorporates three security-focused features designed to make quick smash-and-grab theft more difficult:

1. A tight snap-fit locking design,

2. A hidden embeddable AirTag compartment, and

3. An interwoven NFC chip for digital ownership verification.

The snap-fit design is intended to stay securely closed and resist quick access to the slabbed card. The hidden AirTag compartment allows the slab to remain trackable while keeping the AirTag out of view. The integrated NFC chip can be used for digital ownership verification and identification.

The Guardian Slab is available in both single-color and multi-color configurations to complement the appearance of different cards while maintaining a minimal, low-profile design. The slab is also reusable after a card is sold, allowing it to continue being used to protect other cards in a collection or inventory.

Each Guardian Slab is CAD-designed and 3D fabricated in my home workshop.
