Today’s record is one that I have shared before. From 1960, the record is called “Elvis is Back.” This record was released after Elvis returned from the Army. I got the record back in September of last year, and it is hands down, my favorite record in my collation. Here’s why…

My Pa severed in Army for many years. One day, my Pa was stationed in Germany for a night. Elvis was also stationed at the same place as my Pa! My Pa spent the night at the same place as Elvis, and met him. However, believe or not, my Pa had never heard of Elvis Presley before this! (Again, he had been in the Army for many years, and probably did not keep up with who was popular back in the day.) He found out years later who Elvis was, and that they had been stationed together for a night. I have a picture of my Pa below. I think that was so awesome, so sad that he didn’t get an Autograph from Elvis.
