The army wasn’t just all work for Elvis. He had some fun, too! This card shows a picture of Elvis playing baseball in his free time. Elvis loved hosting parties, and singing while in the Army.
This is one of more iconic Elvis records. It’s “From Elvis in Memphis.” This record was released in 1969, right after the 68’ comeback special. This record has great hits like In the Ghetto, Suspicious Minds, and some of my favorites are Any Day Now, Kentucky Rain, and Loving you. I really love this record, awesome to have in my collection.
“Elvis Presley sings Leiber and Stoller.” I couldn’t find much information on this record, I do know it was released in 1980, three years after Elvis “died.” My guess is that the songs on the record were written by Mike Stoller, and Jerry Leiber. Any information on this record would be appreciated, my cousin gave me this record a few years ago.
