I recently posted about pulling an Elly rookie debut sapphy to /5 outta Topps Chrome Update, and I mentioned I hit two James Tibbs autos from the same break.
The other box we ripped was ‘24 Bowman Draft jumbo, and may I present to you not one, but the TWO Tibbs autos I hit.
I know it might seem like I have God luck in my breaks, but I assure you, I’ve had my fair share of skunks 😅

Getting back into the hobby recently, I just started collecting Ohtani. I quickly realized that if he was going to be my main Pc, I’d be going head to head with thousands of other Ohtani collectors, and I’d quickly go broke chasing all his rookie autos 😂
So I decided to focus on Yamamoto while building up my sports cards bankroll. I have much more in my collection, but these are some of the better value Yoshis I own.

I joined a buddy’s break just before Christmas. He’s an up-and-comer on Whatnot, and he always breaks a hobby box or two of the latest products. Because he’s a fairly small streamer, his breaks always go for great value (check out @bigapplebrkszn if you’re interested).
I bought into a break that had a 24 Bowman Draft Jumbo and a 24 Topps Chrome Update Sapphire box. Chasing my teams, and I landed two of em (Angels & Giants) on random team spins. Paid around $35 each. Went in one last time and landed on the Reds for $38.
The Draft box served me very well. I hit Chase Burns and Christian Moore refractors, and TWO James Tibbs autos, a base and a green refractor, out of the same box!
Already happy with the break, I wasn’t expecting much out of the Topps Sapphy box, given my teams. With only one auto, the chances that it would be the biggest chase (Elly) amongst my teams was rare.
Although I didn’t hit the auto, I definitely hit the nuke outta the box: a rookie debut Elly card to /5! Merry Christmas to me!

I’ve never ripped Disney before, but one of my favorite breakers is a personal fan of Disney cards. I percied a couple hobby boxes of ‘24 Topps Disney Chrome, and hit this Sulley auto to /10.
Apparently, it’s a huge card! I’ve had two sales fall through on this, but wondering if anyone on Mantel is a Disney collector?

So there I was, chasing my pc team (Dodgers) in a random team break of a case of 24 Bowman Draft. Wheel lands on my 3rd backup team. Thinking to myself that I wouldn't be mad at hitting a Nicholas or Jacob Wilson auto. Ended up with A's, Cubs and Stros, and immediately started beating myself up for spending a grand.
And then this happened
