As a middle-aged guy with a collection of cards, comics and other assorted memorabilia who gets occasional grief from my wife about it, I appreciate articles like the one today on Mantel.

Sure, I'm not going to sell this card anytime soon, and it's not like I could retire off of an SGC 3, anyway. Still, it's nice to be able to tell my wife I have a good eye for things that will appreciate in value - even if I really just got them because I thought they were cool... 🙃
