Back in the day (1997) Marvel and DC would occasionally play nice and make comics together. This is one such example the Batman and Spider-Man comic was made by DC whereas the Spider-Man and Batman comic was made by Marvel. One showcases Spider-Man, helping out in a Batman story with the other, having Batman help out in a Spider-Man story. Very happy with this pick up today at my local comic store.
several years ago I found this ungraded at an antique mall in the Chicago suburbs in a cheap picture frame with some other cards from this set with a little $30 sticker on it. I sent them all off to SGC and got varying grades, this one being the lowest, which makes sense because this would be the card that some kid got one day and was most excited to show off and look at in a day when top loaders didn’t exist. One of those fun finds that I love because of the endless imagined history of the hands that have held it and the eyes that have marveled in its presence.
If you love comicbooks you need to checkout McKay’s! They have a few locations in North Carolina and Tennessee! I got these at their store in Mebane, NC! How cool is the Superman cover?
