1983 Topps Marcus Allen rookie - Oakland Raiders
Lost in the history of the NFL is Marcus Allen. He really could have been a top three running back of all time. However, he falls down to the 20 to 30 range in my book. He could’ve been top three if he wasn’t placed in the doghouse by the owner of the Raiders and benched for no reason. He was really an amazing dynamic player in the same vein as LaDanian Tomlinson or Marshall Faulk, and he could run out of the backfield and was also great at blocking and catching balls. Check out some of his career highlights.
