One of my first ever vintage focused collections was Harmon Killebrew. Growing up outside of Washington, DC as a kid, I had to root for the O’s up the road. Only time I ever saw a game at RFK was when the O’s would play exhibition games before the start of the season.

So, I wanted to collect what was then one of the greats that had played in DC during a tenure of a MLB team, before up and moving either to Minnesota or Texas.

I got this card 25 years ago for $100. (I have always kept track of all my spending) I still snag Killebrew cards to this day. Mr MLB Logoman!
