I collected all of these MJs as a kid and when I got back into collecting, I quickly learned grading was a thing. Naive, I looked at a few cards that seemed decent and sent them in. No deep analysis, no prep, just hope and a prayer.

Welp, I didn't do that great from a grade number perspective, but luckily prices were cheaper then and it made for a great looking keepsake. I still like grading(slabs look so nice!), but have wised up a bit on when and how I grade. Any first time grading stories?!?
