• The first of the two original soundtrack albums released for the TV series (1990–91).

• A mix of BGM cues, the TV-size themes, and a treasure trove of image songs and short comedy-drama skits performed by the cast.

• Features tracks for Yattarō, Pururun, and Sukashii along with assorted character pieces and interludes—very much a “variety show” album that captures the tone of the series.

• The CD came with a printed lyric sheet (with illustrations), and a small collector card. CDs on the second-hand market are unlikely to include these.

Reprint news: a limited reissue of both soundtrack albums is planned to be included with the deluxe Blu-ray box, scheduled for release next year. If you’ve never been able to hear the discs, keep an eye on that set—this will be the easiest way to get them again.
