Living in Los Angeles definitely has it’s perks. Legendary artist, Bernie Wrightson (RIP), gave a talk about his work at Golden Apple in the mid 90’s. Afterwards, he signed autographs and sold some of his artwork. I was fortunate enough to buy several rough sketches of “ Batman: The Cult” and a detailed pencil drawing that was published on his trading card set.

Berni was a very gracious signer. He signed an issue of Swamp Thing (along with Len Wein RIP who showed up too), my hardcover edition of Frankenstein, and this book (see pics).
