I picked up a Wire magazine a couple of months ago, whose cover referenced the top 100 startups in Europe. I was pleasantly surprised to see a collectibles company as a top startup representing Lisbon called Splink. Splink®️ - Vinyl Collectibles with Augmented Reality Technology (splinkofficial.io). It is a collectible tied to Augmented Reality, with a mobile app. They have licensed some of the La Liga (Spain). Lique 1 (France) and Primeira Liga (Portugal) clubs, as well as the Portugal and Brazil National Teams Products – Splink (splinkofficial.com).
I personally bought the Christiano Ronaldo 2020 Euro MyJersey (see pics) with the Euros coming up in about 60 days. I was bummed out that the Eusebio 1966 World Cup MyJersey was sold out. My father was a Benfica and Eusebio supporter. I love to collect items from the 66 World Cup. I did see some rumblings this week on LinkedIn about Splink working with Santos in Brazil. How cool would it be to collect a Pele Santos MyJersey? Hope they can make it happen. There is a bloke here with some licensing background and a bloke with some ties to the NWSL. C'mon you two, let's have a NWSL MyJersey beat out the MLS here. It would be cool to get a Marta MyJersey in a NWSL kit or an Alex Morgan MyJersey in a San Diego Wave kit before they retire.
