Growing up as a child of the 80’s in Flatbush, it was only natural that I became a Mets fan.

But my favorite baseball player of all-time didn’t join my team until 1999. And when he did, at age 40, he had what would be considered a career year for most players!

It was only one year, but having my favorite player on my favorite team, a playoff team, was amazing.
