Lot of uproar about this signing with Tom Brady. Seems like a lot of people messed up... the folks putting on the event, Tom's reps, Tom himself.
People paid money and took time out of their days to go to this signing, and it's crazy how poorly it was run and how much the collectors seemed to have gotten screwed. Cards weren't signed. Tom ignored the pen color requests on items he did sign. And some of the items he signed were either not actually signed by him or he put zero care into it.
Surprising for someone like Tom who works so hard to protect his image.
I've seen some people say that the collectors' themselves should take some of the blame - No way in my book. You follow the rules the event organizer sets. It's up to them to deliver on the value they promised.
I wish Tom had the presence of mind to just not sign these items so the collectors could get their money back without such bad signatures on them. Would an authenticator even give these a passing grade?
