Stuck between Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach and Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman, Danny White was the Dallas Cowboys quarterback for most of the early 1980s. What kids these days might not remember, was that Danny White was not just a quarterback, but also served as the Dallas Cowboys punter! Clearly, in today’s game, you never really see the quarterback/punter combination, even though occasionallyquarterbacks like Randall Cunningham have punted during their careers in specific situations. Well, Danny White never saw the success that Staubach and Aikman had, he was still quintessential part of my childhood Cowboys fandom.
