NBA Coaches Raise Awareness And Proceeds For Autism Through Sotheby's Auction
On Tuesday, the auctions for custom Nike Air Force 1s worn by NBA coaches on the sidelines from April 2nd through April 12th were closed on Sotheby. These custom Air Force 1s were created to bring awareness to Autism Acceptance Month.
The movement, called "To the Max," was initiated by Utah Jazz Assistant Coach Scott Morrison after his son Max was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The purpose of the movement is to highlight that autistic individuals have much to offer and deserve support, acceptance, inclusion, and kindness.
All proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
