Mantel sees it first👀⚾️🔥
Over the past couple of months, I’ve been selling a lot of my modern sports cards and building up a nice reserve of cash to spend on vintage autograph sports cards.
One of the first cards I knew I wanted was a late 1950s Topps signed by Stan the Man. I was gravitating towards the 1959 design, but I just kept finding myself going back to the 1958 All-Star card. I ultimately ended up picking this signed copy up, and I am extremely proud to own it.
I don’t think it’s talked about enough how Musial played 24 MLB seasons, accumulated over 3600 hits, and had a lifetime batting average of .331.
As I venture more into the signed vintage space over the next couple of years, this one will always be special to me as the first non-Minnesota Twins signed Hall of Fame card that I picked up!
