Over time, it has felt like Carr's talents as a basketball player have been diminished slightly, as many fans now remember him more for his towel waving celebrations from the Celtics bench. But before joining the Celtics, Carr led the league in steals (2.5spg) while averaging 18.7ppg and 7.4rpg for the 1978-79 Pistons.
