I think KD is a top 25 all-time player. Especially if he gets another title. He will always be remembered as someone who jumped ship and joined a front running team to get a championship, but man, he is GOOD and so smooth to watch. Like Garnett on steroids with a better handle and better outside shot (but worse on defense). I only have 2-3 Durant cards in my collection. This one, with the multi-colored game-used patch and stunning holofoil and acetate surface, is a beauty!

KG was one of my all-time favorite players. Love these early patch piece cards. In the early days, Fleer and Upper Deck patch cards were rare but also all of them were game worn, not like today’s post-COVID non-associated jersey/patch pieces. I think the key is to have them associated with specific moments, games, and milestones. Something Fanatics/Topps is starting to do, at least for some significant pieces. We will see what happens when they get all the licenses. But I miss Fleer, Skybox, Flair, and Upper Deck!

Man, Stephon Marbury was awesome. I find it so interesting that he took his skills to China and he is considered a legend over there! This is a beautiful 2017-2018 National Treasures super chunky multicolored game-used patch from his time with the Phoenix Suns. Beautiful card and numbered out of 10.

I grew up in Indianapolis and actually got to play basketball with Reggie Miller in the early 90s. I was in college and grad school when they had their great 1990s teams. It was really amazing, hardnose basketball. Especially games and playoff series against the Knicks, Michael Jordan, and the Bulls, and Detroit Pistons. Reggie was one of the NBA all-time best pure shooters and his rare signed cards are so highly collectible, especially because he doesn’t sign too much these days. This is a beautiful, flawless, game-used, super chunky patch that I’m thrilled to have this part of my collection.

Yes, I’m aware that Leaf products are unlicensed. But this patch is so well-executed that it doesn’t really matter to me. The Holofoil black edges are super cool and the three-color patch that is game worn is awesome! The fact that I get a really cool tri-color Jersey around the “B” in Boston is even cooler. It’s individually numbered one out of 11 so there’s still a few of them out there however I picked this up for about $100, and is the Celtics fan, I can’t go wrong with the piece like this.
