I enjoy creating digital art with my collectibles
I’ve always been fascinated by Photoshop since I learned how to use it as a teenager. Once I got back into collecting, creating these card arts reminded me of some amusing creations I made back then.
I used to be a part of a sports forum (I can’t recall the website), but I would design forum signatures for some users based on their favorite players or teams. I became quite engrossed in it!
When I got back into collecting, I was seeking a unique way to share parts of my card collection. I felt that a simple photo of the card lying on its back wasn’t sufficient. Additionally, it was challenging to consistently achieve the right lighting. And that, I believe, was my primary objective: consistency.
So, I embarked on a journey with Photoshop, particularly taking advantage of their generative AI capabilities. I’m able to create these digital art pieces quite rapidly because of it! Most of the time goes into extracting the slab with clean cuts and a transparent background (since TAG slabs are essentially transparent).
Here’s one of my prized possessions.
