“Special K” was the first Big Ten player and remains the only Michigan State University Spartan player to record 2,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds. He was on their 1978-79 National Championship team. As a pro he fought through six National Basketball Association seasons with four teams battling chronic knee injuries. Greg Kelser turns 68 today.
