I made a last-minute decision to fly into Dallas, Rent-A-Car and drive to Oklahoma City, book a hotel room, and buy tickets to the NBA finals game seven just hour or so before tip off. I had a great time, it was an anticlimactic losing Halliburton after a few minutes. I honestly think the Pacers could have won that game. Still, it was cool meeting Pascal Siakam, getting to hang with Halliburton‘s dad pregame, and dabbing up Reggie Miller. And as much as we love collecting, I will take experiences over stuff.
