After reading the Topps Now threads on Gronk's first pitch, and Jackson Holliday's first hit, it made me think of my favorite Topps Now moment card. Would love to see a poll or more thoughts from folks here on Topps Now. I am a sucker for it. It is such an emotional purchase, as you excited about the moment you just witnessed. First TN buys for me were Messi arriving at PSG, and Ronaldo arriving at Manchester United. After watching top 10 plays of the day on ESPN, I jumped in on Elly De La Cruz first home run and also the one of him stealing all the bases. Such a cool shot from above of him stealing home plate. My favorite one though is this one - Manchester City vs Real Madrid semifinal in 2022. Though it was the semifinal, most thought the winner would win it all, which they did. Down 1-0 in the second leg, Real Madrid pulled off the impossible, scoring 3 goals (inclusive of x-time) after 90 minutes to advance to the semifinal 6-5 on aggregate. Best Champions League game and best comeback ever for me. Of course, next day I had to get the Topps now moment. Lucked out the next day by landing this 5/99 Real Madrid moment. Love that it is purple, which is Real Madrid's royal color. These two teams do it again tomorrow for the quarter final second leg, first leg was 3-3 in Madrid. Taking an extremely long lunch break to watch Act II tomorrow. Blocking out 20 minutes as "busy" on my schedule Thursday to get the Topps Now moment of this game. What is your favorite Topps Now moment?
