1936 R312, Rogers Hornsby⭐
Rogers Hornsby ("Rajah") is widely considered one of the greatest right-handed hitters in MLB history, with a career .358 BA (second-highest all-time) and two National League Triple Crowns. He won seven batting titles, hit over .400 three times (including a modern-era record .424 in 1924), and led the 1926 Cardinals to a World Series title as player-manager.
This is my only vintage card of Rogers.

These 1936 R312, Pastels are fantastic as they are scarce.
Only 24 examples of this card have been graded by PSA.
There is only one graded higher than this PSA 6.

1936 R312, National Chicle Premium Pastels ⭐ Connie Mack & Lefty Grove
This card boasts two legendary Hall of Famers in one card.
As I got older, my definition of beautiful cards expanded.
I came across these cards about 6 year ago and I was smitten by the pastel accented photographs. Some of them even appear cartoonish.
I chased this particular card for a long time before finally landing this example and I'm delighted.
If you've never held one of these, in hand, I would encourage you to do so. My feeble photograph does not do justice to this magnificent card.
