I pulled this Albert Belle/Barry Larkin insert from a single pack of 1997 Topps on Christmas morning 1996. These were inserted 1:36 packs, making it the first big ‘hit’ I’d gotten in my short ten years on the planet. What made it even better is I loved Albert Belle and Barry Larkin and I’d never had a Finest card before. This has since traveled with me through 10 address changes (that I can count) and a million twists and turns…and now it’s encased for eternity.

Do you peel the protective coating off Topps Finest cards? I do if it’s a low/mid-value refractor. Look at that glimmer!
