Congratulations to the Celtics for their first round playoff series win over the Magic. Will be tougher 2nd round vs the Knicks who have a lot of length! People don’t realize how few 1998-99 chrome refractors were made. They were short-printed for sure. The Pierce and Nowitzki are the best rookies in the set. I bought this raw and thought it has a great chance at getting a gem mint PSA 10. Alas, I’ll have to settle for the 9 again!

I don’t think kids these days know how much shine the 2007 Chrome refractors had. I mean, the panini silvers don’t typically have a mirror-like finish. Even other years of chrome don’t have this shine. Of course, the iconic image of Kobe doesn’t hurt…

As a Celtic fan, this was super hard to trade away. Being eTopps, it was kind of an oddball in my collection and as I had a few Russell autographs in my collection, it was sacrificed as part of a large trade to get a pack-pulled Wilt auto. Which is somehow poetic that after all these years, they can still be linked together in this way! Celtics in 5.
