1952 Topps #382, Sam Jones RC ⭐ MLB Pioneer. On September 12, 1959, Sam Jones of the SF Giants becomes the second black MLB pitcher to win 20 games in a season. He is also the first black MLB pitcher to throw a no-hitter, but that happened in 1955 when he pitched for the Cubs. Sam Jones is a MLB Pioneer as he started his professional career playing for the Cleveland Buckeyes of the Negro League.
