1970 Pittsburgh Pirates Autograph Cards⭐ Roberto Clemente
The image of Roberto in this card is how I will always remember him - dignified, proud, MLB Royalty.
I was fortunate to see Roberto Clemente play in person, but only for 2 and a half years at Three Rivers Stadium.
This card was part of a Pirates issued set only available at Three Rivers Stadium and only for sale less than half of 1970 because the Bucs did not play their first game at Three Rivers until July 16, 1970.
This card is exceedingly rare, especially in this condition.

This unique and colorful card was sold by Topps as part of a stand-alone product.
They were marketed specifically for kids, as the images were meant to be punched out and folded so the player would “stand up,” reinforcing that they were toys as much as cards.

A downside for some folks is their oversized format, but the photography is exquisite (some of Topps best), and over one-third (21 cards) of the 60-card set is Hall of Famers.
