This past week, a close friend of mine locally here stopped by the shop for the first time in months.. After an hour or so long conversation, he handed me a book filled with hockey cards. His personal collection from the 90's.
He has not been doing the best health wise, which really breaks my heart to hear. We went through the entire book together that day - talked about the awesome art, the cool designs from the time. He told me stories about why he collected the way he did - I think I will cherish this book for life. I plan to share a page in the group a few times a week, there are a ton.
Gretzky was one of his favorites to collect. I am going to refer to my friend as CF for the posts ❤
