This RC of MLB Pioneer Hal Jones is the second mainstream baseball card I've found that displays a player wearing a batting glove in the picture.
The first is 1961 Topps #5, John Romano.
Hal Jones began his professional baseball career in 1956, with the Kansas City Monarchs, in the Negro League, where he was named to the East-West All-Star Game.

1949 Bowman #233, Larry Doby RC ⭐ MLB Pioneer
Larry Doby was my Dad's favorite player as a kid.
When my Dad played Little League baseball, he would imitate Doby and say "Larry Doby coming to bat", when he came to the plate.
It earned my Dad the nickname "Doby".
This is the first card I acquired when I got back into the hobby around 2020.
