Gary Anderson was one of the last NFL players to be Grandfathered in to the single-bar face mask. And we would color coordinate the color of the bar to match his team’s uniform by using the secondary colors.
He had a perfect regular season in ‘98 making every field goal and extra point while playing for the Minnesota Vikings.
The Syracuse Orangeman also played soccer while in college.
