Refractor /499

So, this is an odd one. In 2022, I became somewhat obsessed with this one cars: the Jarred Kelenic from the Topps base set. It was a future star. A lot of promise. I’m a huge Mariners fan. So Istarted collecting the card.

Then I started working on the Ben Baller Chrome Rainbow. I got nearly all of them but there was this really hard one: the Purple Friends & Family /42. Apparently Ben actually had his own personal parallels made and just gave the sets to friends.

I found the purple Wander Franco on eBay. And found the guy selling it. He had the whole set. And after getting the ok from Ben (he said), he sold it to me. So here it is:

2022 Topps, like for many of us, is a somewhat nostalgic set because it hit as the pandemic was starting to ease up and so many collectors had come back into the hobby. So I’ve been enjoying finding the short prints and super short prints. Found this one the other day.
